Humvee Hit by IED Near Baghdad.
A video was released Monday by an insurgency group in Iraq, Jaish al-Mujahedeen, showing a Humvee being struck by an improvised explosive device (IED) west of Baghdad. After being hit by the IED, personnel on the ground signal two rescue helicopters. The helicopters leave the area after a short while, presumably with soldiers from the Humvee aboard. Jaish al-Mujahedeen claimed the attack took place May 25 and that seven American soldiers died from the explosion. The has been no confirmation of casulities due to this attack from US officials.
