Taliban prepares IED as gun-toting child watches.
In a video released Monday by the media branch of the Taliban and al-Qaeda in Afghanistan, a Taliban member is
shown preparing an improvised explosive device (IED) from what may be anti-tank mines. All the while, a small child,
who has his face covered, observed and played with a handgun. Later in the video, the powerful IED is detonated near
a truck. It is not known when this attack took place but it reportedly occurred in western Afghanistan, near Herat and
close to the Iranian border. It is not known if any casualties resulted from this attack.
